Quilting is the stitching that holds a filling between two layers of fabric, and the pattern we use decides how the jacket drapes, how warm it is and how it reads on the shelf. Our minimum order is 100 pieces per style, with your own labels, fabrics and colourways, and a sample ready in about one week.
What is a quilted jacket?
A quilted jacket is built from two layers of fabric with a padding layer between them, stitched through in a repeating pattern. The stitching does two jobs: it holds the filling in place so it cannot migrate, and it gives the surface its structure and texture. Because the padding is stitched down rather than lofted inside free baffles, a quilted jacket is flatter and lighter than a puffer of the same warmth — which is why it works as a layering piece under a coat as well as a stand-alone jacket in spring and autumn.

What is the difference between a quilted jacket and a puffer jacket?
A puffer relies on separate baffle channels holding loose fill, which gives it loft. A quilted jacket stitches the filling down through the fabric, so it is flatter, lighter and easier to layer. Both are made in our factory.
Which quilting patterns can you produce?
Wave-pattern quilting, diamond quilting, ultrasonic (heat-bonded) quilting and quilted cotton splicing. The pattern is chosen per style at sampling.
Can a quilted jacket have a fleece lining?
Yes. Our quilted outdoor styles use a fleece lining with quilted cotton panels on the body, which adds warmth without adding bulk.
Which fabrics are used on the face of a quilted jacket?
Woven cotton and cotton blends are the standard, including washed and printed finishes. Suede-faced styles use ultrasonic quilting instead of stitched quilting.
Is a quilted jacket suitable for OEM and private label?
Yes. Quilted jackets and overshirts are core made-to-order styles and are produced under your own label with your own hardware, trims and packaging.
